The Gates Developers are hosting a transformative Christmas event at Espana Plaza Mall, centred around the spirit of giving back to the community. This initiative, spanning from December 22nd to January 7th on weekends, aims to unite families in joyful activities while supporting notable foundations.
Espana Plaza Mall's three gates symbolise Hope, Love, and Humanity, each aligned with specific charitable causes. The "Hope" gate partners with Baheya Foundation, "Love" aligns with Magdi Yacoub's Foundation, and "Humanity" supports the Egyptian food bank for Palestine.
The Magdi Yacoub Heart Foundation (MYF) – an Egyptian registered charity NGO – was founded in 2008 by Sir Magdi Yacoub, the late Dr. Ahmed Zewail and Ambassador Mohamed Shaker.
MYF is running one of the exceptional projects of enormous significance to the health and wellbeing of the Egyptian people
With suffering, comes mercy. Years ago, Mrs. Baheya Wahby was diagnosed with breast cancer, which made her travel abroad to have the necessary examinations and scans that were not available in Egypt at that time.
It is this exact moment that made the dream come true.
The EFB was founded in 2006 by a group of businessmen with the aim of serving the society and helping those in need by
specializing in Hunger under the name of Egyptian Food Bank that would be converted to a national project that serves all governorates in Egypt.
